Dr. Erica D’Agostino, Director
Erica began working in the ATTIC in August of 2007; she works specifically with students with disabilities and also co-supervises the Supplemental Instruction program. Prior to coming to Lafayette Erica worked as a School Psychologist at Phillipsburg and North Hunterdon High Schools and then went on to work as an Adjunct Professor of Psychology at Northampton County Community College. She most recently managed her private counseling/testing practice, specializing in children and young adults.
Erica received her BA in Psychology and Art from Lafayette College. She then went on to Seton Hall University in New Jersey where she received an MA in Counseling, Ed.S in School Psychology and most recently, an Ed.D in Educational Leadership, Management and Policy. Erica resides in Easton with her two little girls, Arianna and Bianca.
Dana Filchner, Associate Director
Dana also began working in the ATTIC in August 2007; she coordinates the Academic Support Program for Student Athletes and co-supervises the Supplemental Instruction Program. Dana brings to Lafayette a great deal of knowledge in advising student athletes in the areas of academics, career development and leadership. She most recently served as an academic coordinator and instructor at North Carolina State University’s College of Undergraduate Affairs, prior to that she held positions at Radford University as the Leadership Programs Coordinator, and the Academic Coordinator for Student Athletes.
Dana earned her BS in Graphic Design and Art History from Radford University in Virginia. She continued her education at Radford as she went on to earn a Masters of Science degree in Counseling and Human Development with a concentration in Student Affairs.
Sharon Bright, Coordinator
Sharon has been working as a part-time Coordinator in the ATTIC since 1996 and has a Bachelor of Arts Degree. In addition, she has received additional training and certifications from the following organizations: National Academic Athletic Advisors Association, University of Vermont, Post-Secondary Training Institute of Learning Disabilities Conferences, National Association of Developmental Educators and the LVAIC Special Needs Consortium.
Julie Nelson, Support Staff
Julie has been working part-time in the ATTIC since 1999. Prior to working at Lafayette College worked in various corporate environments for 20 years. She very much enjoys working in an academic environment and interacting with college students.
Julie is originally from the Midwest, but lived in Raleigh, North Carolina for seven years and the Chicago area for one year before moving to Pennsylvania.
Kara Kolton, Support Staff
Kara has been with the ATTIC since October, 2006. Before joining the staff of the ATTIC Kara worked for Wyeth Consumer Healthcare and Parke Davis; she has over 10 years experience as an Administrative Assistant in the pharmaceutical environment.
Kara is originally from Parsippany, NJ and currently resides in Forks Township, Easton with her husband and three dogs.
