The Academic Tutoring and Training Information Center (ATTIC) is committed to providing high quality peer tutoring services to our students. Peer tutoring is available in a wide variety of courses, and students may request a tutor for as many courses as they need. The peer tutoring program provides one (1) hour of tutoring per week per course for the duration of the semester with the exception of Computer Science courses which provide two (2) hours of tutoring per week. Peer tutor assignments begin each semester during the second week of classes.

About our Tutors

Lafayette’s peer tutors are admitted to the program via faculty recommendation. For each discipline across campus, faculty members submit names of students who have achieved a high level of success in specific courses, and the ATTIC then contacts those students to determine if they are willing to become peer tutors.
