GETTING PAID

If you are a new tutor to Lafayette and have never been paid by any other office on campus, you will need to do the following:

File an I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification form AND complete a W-4 form in the Office of the Dean of Students, Hogg Hall, Room 101.

You must have either a Passport OR two (2) forms of ID  (one from Item #1 and one from Item #2):

  1. Driver’s License OR Social Security Card
  2. College ID OR Birth Certificate

With the implementation of our new tutor tracking software (TutorTrac), payroll will now be automatically run the morning following the due dates (see link below).  IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT EVERY TUTOR SESSION YOU INCUR EACH PAY PERIOD IS LOGGED INTO THE TUTORTRAC SOFTWARE BY THE DEADLINES.  The TutorTrac software does NOT allow any tutor sessions to roll into the next pay period.

In an effort to become more efficient and environmentally friendly, the Academic Tutoring and Training Information Center (ATTIC) now provides enhanced online services, including the ability to schedule and document tutoring sessions, as well as manage payroll electronically. These electronic services will allow for a more efficient and timely manner in processing reports.
